Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, Africa’s largest and the world’s third largest gold mining company with 20 operations in four continents around the globe. Conduct pre-sort checks of light vehicles, and assist the driller with rig checks.
Conduct downhole equipment checks throughout the shift
Main or Key Accountabilities Maintain trailer stock levels ensuring that the supervisor is kept up-to-date with incomings and outgoings.
Housekeeping of all equipment ensuring it is of fee highest cr standards with readiness at workspaces a priority.

Qualifications:

Experience:
B.Sc / B.Com IB. Eng / LLB Degree or equivalent Mnimum of 5 years’ experience in procurementi’ccntracts/inventory management in mining environment or equivalent with 2 years in 3 Supervsory Role.
Purpose of the Role: The role is required to supervse and manage 3 team of Procurement and

Contracts Officers, to ensure that the daily activities of tho team is aligned to the function’s Polices & procedures and the mine’s overall objectives, with minimal risk to the company
Daily Supervision and management of a team o4 Procurement
and Contracts Olfcors
Monitor and centrd the adherence of Procurement and contracts officers to the functions Acquistion polcy and Procedure

contracts officers to (uncton’ Standard Operating Procedures
Daily Review, a’ccatcn (where Requred). montomg and Main or Key                               control of outstanding Requsitions
Accountabilities
Daily Review, monitoring and control of outstanding Orders
Review and Endorsement of Contracts to ensure contracts are concluded wth minimal risk to the company ard at market related rates
Perform Daly ‘Desk Checks’ (Review) of Procurement and Contracts Officers’ work
Provide and implement new process improvement -ntatives from time to time
Should be self- motivated and ability to work independently
Should have good and effective communication skills
Experence and good proficiency in Ihe use of advance Microsoft Office tools (Excel. Word. Pcwen’oint)
