Kariakoo Markets Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution established under the Kariakoo Markets Corporation Act No. 36 of 1974 (Revised by the Act No. 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo Markets and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar Es Salaam.

Administratively the Kariakoo Markets Corporation is under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The Corporation therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant job positions:


RECORDS MANAGEMENT OFFICER -1 POST

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures all files are in good order and well maintained.
Keeps document records of the Corporation.
Tracks all files in rotation and ensure are kept back in the registry
Opens and numbers new files
Appropriate filling of documents
Frequent visit to the Corporation Postal Box
Receives and send mails
Performs such duties assigned by Supervisor.


Preferred Qualifications

A Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or VI) and a Diploma in Records Management from a recognized Institution, with two years working experience in record management.
