Kariakoo Markets Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution established under the Kariakoo Markets Corporation Act No. 36 of 1974 (Revised by the Act No. 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo Markets and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar Es Salaam.

Administratively the Kariakoo Markets Corporation is under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The Corporation therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant job positions:

OFFICE ATTENDANT GRADE II -1 POST

Duties and responsibilities

Observes office cleanliness.
Serves employees and guests with refreshments such as tea, coffee, drinks, Newspapers etc.
Dispatches files and Mails in and out of the offices.
Receives incoming mails and keeps in records.
Prepares conference room and serve Meetings.
Performs any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

A Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV/VI) and Training Certificate in office management from a recognized Institution, with least one year working experience in a relevant field.
