For 42 years, Jhpiego has been providing frontline health professionals with the development and implementation of practical, cost-effective and workable solutions to empower women and their families. By introducing evidence-based health innovations into daily practice, Jhiego seeks to remove barriers to delivering quality healthcare to the world’s most vulnerable populations. Jhiego is carrying out a number of projects in Tanzania and would like to hire the technical director of TCI Tupange Pamoja.

Position:TCI Tupange Pamoja Technical Officer (1 post in Dar es salaam)

Summary Workload:
Technical assistance with the Tupange Pamoja (TP) initiative in Tanzania, in particular with the evaluation, design, implementation and monitoring of the demand-driven approach to providing selected family planning areas (cities, local councils, district councils). Contribution to the sustainable introduction of innovations in family planning (FP) in Tanzania.

Responsibilities
• Assistance in the evaluation, design and implementation of evidence-based innovation/family planning interventions in selected geographical areas.
• Provide technical advice and strategic contributions to the design, implementation and simplification of key Tupange Pamoja interventions, including the FP Toolkit, the TCI University, the TCI Practice Group, the Training Program and Best Practices. Practices.
• Conduct advocacy and marketing for a demand-driven approach in collaboration with AFP Tanzania and other stakeholders, and develop PF innovation in cities and communities in Tanzania.
• Providing technical assistance (guidance and mentoring) in the design of gardens and proposals for selected geographic areas to ensure that the program strategies have the greatest impact on a large scale and sustainable.
• Actively participate in the annual work planning initiative
• Support and support for project M & E activities to ensure that the project meets the objectives set in accordance with national and international standards.
• Conduct project activities in a timely, cost-effective, multitasking way and prioritize them as needed.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); • Active support for geographical areas, regional reproductive health coordinators (RRCHCO) and regional reproductive health coordinators (DRCHCO) in the implementation and monitoring of national standards for the FP.
• In cooperation with HIS / DHSI geographers and Tupange Pamoja, the monitoring and evaluation officer, ensure that appropriate information is regularly contacted, analyzed and used by the geographic administration for programmatic decision-making.
• Prepare routine activities as well as monthly and quarterly reports.
• Continue documentation and intuitive learning activities by rejecting appropriate documents and reports, including challenges. Successes and lessons learned
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and donors
• Work with project and finance staff to prepare and track the progress of the activity budgets
• Maintain productive and consistent communication with project and engineering personnel
• Ensuring compliance with the donor guidelines and operating regulations
• Perform other tasks according to your supervisor’s instructions

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Diploma in Health or Public Health, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Population or related fields. Mastery is preferred
• At least seven years of experience in providing integrated RP / RH services to governments, NGOs and the private sector
• Familiarity with participatory methods and approaches
• Proven experience in system enhancement (service, MIS) and data usage to implement quality improvement measures in selected geographic environments
• Proven skills in moderation, teamwork, capacity building and coordination
• Strong change management, results-oriented skills and decision-making
• Experience the participation of international NGOs, international donors, senior officials and policy makers• Excellent interpersonal skills, writing and oral presentation
• A team player who develops team capacity, delegates work for teams and develops learning communities between partners and counterparties
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short lead times and high-performance pressure
• Knowledge of English and Swahili
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to travel frequently and at short notice
