Our Telecommunications customer in Tanzania is looking for a second level VAS for support engineers.

Title: Second Level Support Engineer At VAS

Location: Tanzania

Experience: 4-7 years
Capabilities: L2 support in the VAS environment, especially messaging, signaling, SS7, roaming protocols, SMPP messaging protocols, HTTP with 24 * 7 support.

The description: Profile Summary

The candidate will be responsible for VAS operations, high-level support and project support.

Position requirements

• Service Management: Responsible for managing MS VAS and providing second-level support 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
• Platform Management - To proactively monitor, manage and optimize the use of resources/features.
He would also be responsible for performance monitoring and statistical reporting.
• Income insurance: ensuring compliance with data protection and income guarantee regulations.
• Incident Management: to ensure bug reporting and escalation.
• Availability Management - to monitor and manage systems to ensure the availability of end-to-end services based on platform KPIs.
• Supplier management - to escalate problems to the suppliers involved.
Reports: providing technical reports, performance reports, and statistics on previous support systems.
• Pending: Ensure timeliness of the after-hours backup service for value-added services and the AM department.

• Analyze, enhance and manage the daily operations of VAS platforms such as messaging, roaming, data and voice applications.
• Solve application problems within the agreed SLA and coordinate user requirements
• Update the policies and procedures that guide VAS applications to ensure that application integrity is not compromised and to ensure the optimal security of all platform data for business continuity and reliability. emergency planning
• Work closely with suppliers during project implementation to ensure that business requirements are properly implemented
• Develop and maintain the documentation for the support infrastructure.
• Monitor and ensure the improvement of knowledge about the L1 resource
• Manage communication with technicians, companies, and executives. in the operator
• Responsible for fulfilling the entire contractual scope and performing the KPI / SLA without penalty
• Responsible for compliance with all processes related to operations
• Conduct regular government reviews with the customer and KPI / SLA signatures with them
• Coordinated with multiple internal stakeholders for all deliveries
• Manage local operations teams and review customer feedback with the team

• At least 5 years technical experience
