Position (1): PROJECT MANAGER-Agriculture/Livestock

Place of work: Tanzania Country Office

Work responsibilities
• Provide overall management and monitoring of program management, human resource management, budget and contract execution
• Support and monitor the development of a full market analysis using the M4P approach

• Monitor, manage and motivate a powerful team as part of performance management, delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement.
• Develop an effective monitoring and evaluation strategy. Coordinate the planning and provision of appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems and support in defining the impact logic and performance monitoring plan.

• Ensuring the participation and engagement of key stakeholders in subsectors, governments and the extractive industries
• Monitoring and quality control related to the activities of the program
• Maintain the network, connect and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, donors
• Responsible for the development of annual work plans, reviews and budget analysis,
• Create timely and high-quality reports for the donor and stakeholders, and ensure that the appropriate project documentation is created.
• Actively represent the project and BRAC and the network with relevant stakeholders, government initiatives and policies and actively participate in key events, workshops and forums.

• Diploma in agribusiness or other related fields
• MBA will be an added bonus
• Work experience of three (3) to five (5) years to work with NGOs and / or the Government.
• Knowledge in planning, design, budgeting, implementation and management of a project
• Experience in dealing with different authorities and departments

In 2017, we completed the Livelihoods by Agricultural Development project, which established sustainable agricultural systems for 106,460 smallholder farmers.
