Administrative Officer – Temporary Position – Tanzania

Background: IESC – International Executive Service Corps – is a nonprofit organization based in the United States. UU focuses on supporting private companies in developing countries. We worked in partnership with local people in 130 countries, primarily with the generous support of USAID, to design, implement, manage and evaluate a wide range of market solutions across the value chain focused company.
The IESC is seeking a provisional administrator with the Motor Program (Tanzania Feeding Future of Encouraging Business Growth and Investment), funded by USAID, which will increase access to finance, favourable business environment and local business services providers in Tanzania. This position will be based on Dar es Salaam. This position will be directly subordinated to the Director of Human Resources and Operations and will play an important role in the daily operation of the program.
Program description: ENGINE provides technical support to the market of small and medium enterprises, the capacity of local authorities, the active Business Development Services (BDS) companies to help them reach their full potential and promotes the introduction of new investment and financial resources. Products focusing on women and young people, areas of the SME market that are lacking in numbers. There are three components of ENGINE, with each component working to create private investment.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Consolidation of all evidence supporting the provision of regional personnel (Iringa, Mbeya, Morogoro and Zanzibar);
Responsible for all travel requests by the party leader, reports on advances and expenditures and other activities carried out by the Palestinian Authority;
In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources and Business Organization, organizing and conducting meetings, conferences, training and other office events;
Administration of cash funds and issuing cash-count certificates;
Prepare the supplier’s installation forms and facilitate procurement using RR. H. And the director of operations;
Receive and process all payment invoices in the finance department;
Facilitating the timely payment of bills for office services;
Monitor and ensure that program procedures and technical personnel follow program policies and procedures;
Report vehicle accidents and help with rescue operations. Responsible for the follow-up of incident reports to ensure that adequate and complete documentation is produced, and the initiative for appropriate action;
Receive and ship all materials and items insured by IESC;
In collaboration with the Director of Operations, supports the participation of local suppliers of goods and services.
Bachelor’s degree required in Social Sciences, Business or related fields;
At least three years experience in administrative support roles in USAID-funded projects;
Knowledge and experience of international development principles and practices;
USAID or other preferred donor experience;
Work experience in Tanzania requires and requires local approach;
Fluent in English and Swahili is required.
